The 57-year-old Las Vegas man is accused of kidnapping, shooting and cutting the throat of a 12-year-old girl 4 years ago.
The defense has argued he has brain damage and mental health issues. But, the prosecutors say he was never judged to be insane, and he killed both Lexis Roberts and her mother after luring them on a vacation.
The 12-person jury could return a verdict as early as tomorrow afternoon.
