CLECO Stockholders Attempt to Stop Company Sale

But, a state district judge has ruled against them.

The issue is money. The stockholders who filed suit claim the share price is unfair. However, the judge refuses to grant an injunction that would have stopped tomorrow’s shareholder meeting. An appeal is expected.
