CLECO Hearings Begin Monday

class=”aligncenter size-full wp-image-37709″ src=”” alt=”clecosign” width=”500″ height=”280″ />Hearings on the sale of CLECO to Canadian interests will begin Monday morning at 9:30 in the Pineville City Council Chambers.

Area Public Service Commissioner Clyde Holloway says an administrative law judge will hear testimony about the $5 billion proposal.

The hearings are open to the public, but testimony is limited. A more open hearing will be held before the entire Public Service Commission when it votes up or down on the sale. That’s expected in February.
