It’s the story of a lazy little Georgia town in the 1940’s. They’ve experienced the end of World War Two and the election of Harry Truman. But, it’s also the summer when the town piano teacher passes, and it turns out she had some secrets.
What happens is funny, but poignant and features area actors, all directed by Jim Leggett and Theresa Louviere.
Performances are 7:30 each night through Saturday and a Sunday matinee at 2:30, all at the Hearn Stage in downtown Alexandria. That production schedule continues next week Thursday night through Sunday afternoon.
