City of Leesville Announces Opening Dates of Leisure Pool

LEESVILLE, La.–The City of Leesville anticipates that American Pool Services will open the Leisure Pool Saturday May 23. The pool at the former State School will not open this year because of continued maintenance issues.

The Leisure Pool is located at 261 H.M. Stephens Blvd, Leesville. Sessions for the Leisure Pool will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.On Wednesdays and Sundays there will only be one session from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.The pool will be closed on Mondays.Lifeguards will be on duty at the pool for each session and during parties.Admission at the Leisure Pool is $3.75 per person per session.Pool parties will also be available from 6-8 p.m. Tuesdays-Sundays. The rates are $150 for 1-50 people; $175 for 51-75 people. The attached pool rental agreement must be filled out for all parties and accompanied by a deposit in order to reserve your party. Deposits should be made at the Water Department for at least half the amount of the total rental. Final payment must be made no later than the day of the party.

Through June 21, the following promotions will be underway:

One free 30-session pass to be given away each week through May 26- June 21.  Drawing will be held each Tuesday with entry forms taken at the gate from the previous week. Make sure to fill out an entry form with your name and phone number!Free party for you and your friends! All entry forms taken from May 26- June 21 will go into a drawing on June 21st for a free party! Party must be scheduled from 6-8 p.m. on a date the pool is open and when there is no other party reserved.

Aside from these promotions, the City will also offer a 10 percent discount to military members and their families with appropriate military i.d. Nonprofits also get a 10 percent discount with proof of nonprofit status. Check the City’s Facebook page to stay up to date with promotions throughout the summer.
