Chris Roy Junior Announces Run for Rapides District Attorney

Roy is a former legislator who has been practicing law since 1987.  He is the brother of Alexandria Mayor Jacques Roy and the son of attorney and state constitutional convention delegate Chris Roy Senior.

Others being touted for the seat to succeed the retiring James Downs are Chris Hazel and Phillip Terrell.
