Celebration of Life at Rapides Regional Medical Center

The celebration of life after cancer continues today at Rapides Regional Medical Center.

Patients, their families, nurses and staff are creating a beautiful silk banner. Local fiber artist Wendy Starn is supervising the volunteers. Nationwide there are observances to honor cancer survivors.

The Central Louisiana Arts and Healthcare project is also sponsoring this program. The goal is to recognize survivors, support patients and educate the community.
