LSUA Women’s Softball Team Adopts Honorary Captain

The LSU Alexandria Women’s Softball Team is getting ready for the season.
Coach Charlie Zeilman’s team has also adopted an honorary captain this year, Gracie Yerby, who happens to be a teen cancer survivor.  The team is hoping that Gracie’s strength and courage inspires the team this year.

LSUA Athletics Joins Red River Athletic Conference

Sports programs at LSU Alexandria are still on the uptick.  Today, the school announced its admission to the Red River Athletic Conference.

The school is adding basketball and soccer to its program.

LSUA Hires New Women’s Basketball Coach

LSU Alexandria introduces its new women’s basketball coach today – Bob Austin.  He’s officially on board November 1st and comes from Southeastern in Hammond.

The coach has the opportunity to build this program from the ground up.

ULM vs. ULL Girls Soccer

[ October 6, 2013; 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. ] ALEXANDRIA, La. – The ULM soccer program will play its Sun Belt Conference home opener at the Johnny Downs Sports Complex on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. against in-state rival UL-Lafayette.
