Authors Ernest Gaines, Kent Wascom to give readings at NSU

Teen Summit at NSU

NSU Chamber Choir to perform Tuesday

[ October 22, 2013; ] NATCHITOCHES – The Northwestern State University Chamber Choir will celebrate the 100th birthday of composer Benjamin Britten in its fall concert on Tuesday, Oct. 22 at 7:30 p.m. in Magale Recital Hall. Couponing class to be held Oct. 26

[ October 26, 2013; 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. ] NATCHITOCHES –A Couponing for Beginners class will be offered through Northwestern State University’s Office of Electronic and Continuing Education Saturday, Oct. 26 from 9 a.m. until noon in the Natchitoches Room in Russell Hall. The fee is $29.

The class will provide participants with information on how to use coupons to substantially cut their grocery bill.

Art alumni picnic Saturday

[ October 19, 2013; ] NATCHITOCHES – The annual Art Alumni Picnic and Exhibition will be held Saturday, Oct. 19 at 11:30 a.m. in the Northwestern State University Alumni Plaza.  Featured artists this year are Phyllis Lear (1992), Melinda G. Parrie (2003) and Jordan Wade (2013).  The event is part of the university’s Homecoming celebration.
