Festival of Lights Begins This Weekend

The state’s oldest city is preparing for its 87th Festival of Lights.  On Saturday night at 6:30, more than half a million lights will be turned on during a ceremony in the Natchitoches Historic District.  Natchitoches was founded in 1714.

Author Kent Wascom to give reading at NSU Tuesday

NSU Teacher Named Techology Educator of the Year

An NSU business teacher is named Technology Educator of the year by Governor Bobby Jindal.
She’s doctor Margaret Kilcoyne, who is director of the business school.  Technology routinely impacts her administrative work in promoting the business school and bolstering student recruiting.
The awards ceremony was held in Baton Rouge, on Monday.

Forensic anthropologist Mary Manhein to speak at NSU
