3 days of interviews for chancellor of LSU of Alexandria begin today.  A nationwide search resulted in 3 candidates who will be interviewed this week.  Today the vice chancellors and others interviewed Doctor Daniel Howard.
We’re asking each candidate what skills they would take to the chancellor’s office.

LSUA To Hold National Weather Service SKYWARN Class

[ January 13, 2014; 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. ] ALEXANDRIA, LA – Severe weather is a possibility throughout the year in central Louisiana and as a result, it pays to be weather aware in order to stay ahead of rapidly changing conditions.  To help residents prepare for severe storms, LSUA is hosting members of the National Weather Service as they conduct a SKYWARN class.

It’s graduation day for 126 students of LSU of Alexandria.
Doctor Paul Coreil presided over the ceremony, which included 10 summer graduates.  Coreil is the interim chancellor and leads the school’s effort to be selected for the site of the new technical and community college coming to Central Louisiana.

LSUA Students Enjoy Cultural Cuisine

Students of all ages are just about to head off to Thanksgiving break.
These LSUA students enjoy what they call a Cultural Cuisine.  Participants took their own dishes and explained how they represent the diets of their countries.  A native of India also spoke about her experience with international foods.
