City Officials Break Ground on New Regional Gateway Project

Today Mayor Roy and city officials broke ground on the city’s new Regional Gateway Project.

Alexandria and Pineville Police are each looking for missing teens.  They emphasize no foul play is suspected, and these cases are not connected.

NARC Employee Arrested for Rape of a Client

A man who worked at the Natchitoches Association of Retarded Citizens Center (NARC) is arrested for rape of a client.
Glenn Redman worked as a bus driver for the center.  Natchitoches police say an employee suspected a problem and followed Redman when he took the client to his home.

Louisiana Citizens Property Insurance Rebate Often Goes Unclaimed

State taxes are due in May.  Insurance Commissioner Jim Donelon wants to remind you to claim a rebate in regards to the Louisiana Citizens Property Insurance Corporation, an option that expires at the end of this year.

65 percent of those funds were unclaimed at the end of last year.
