State Rep. Robert Johnson Endorses Mayo for Congress

A one-time candidate for the fifth congressional district joins a gubernatorial candidate in the endorsement today of Monroe Mayor Jamie mayo. Mayo is the lone democrat in the November fourth primary and it’s his second time around.

Also in today’s endorsement is gubernatorial candidate John Bel Edwards of Amite.

Construction Begins on On, Off Ramps on Pineville Expwy.

Starting tomorrow night, works begins on the southbound off ramp connecting the Pineville Expressway to Highway 165. Also, work begins on the northbound entry ramp connecting Highway 28 East to the Expressway.
