Former Oakdale Officer Arrested for Sexual Relations with Child

A former Oakdale police officer is arrested for accusations of sexual relations with a child. State police say 25-year-old Skylar Frank was fired after the investigation.
Troopers say while he was on duty in May he had sexual relations with a child. He’s charged with carnal knowledge and malfeasance.

Rapides Deputies Find $47K of Meth in Deville

Rapides deputies say they found 47 thousand dollars worth of meth in the Deville area and arrested the owner. Johnny Ray Campbell is charged with possession.
The arrest was made yesterday at his home on Campbell Road. Deputies say they found around six thousand dollars in cash as well as more than a pound of meth.

Man Arrested for Marijuana Possession

A man is arrested for drugs after being stopped for a traffic offense. Police stopped 19-year-old Reginald Bennett of Alexandria yesterday in the 28 hundred block of Masonic Drive, and they say they smelled marijuana.
Bennett is charged with possession of marijuana and with drug paraphernalia.
