Teen Arrested for Multiple Armed Robberies

Alexandria police arrest a teen for three counts of armed robbery of people. He’s 17-year-old Dontreal Hampton of Alexandria.
Police say the hold-ups date back to January. He was arrested on Duhon Lane.
There were no reported injuries in the incidents.

Oberlin Woman Dies in Single Vehicle Crash

An Oberlin woman is dead from a single-vehicle crash in Allen Parish last night.
Troopers say 72-year-old Emily Adams was on Highway 26 when she lost control and crashed her SUV into a ditch.

Natchitoches police need your help in finding a missing teen. 17-year-old Bianca Chew was last seen Friday night in the front yard of a home on Martin Luther King Drive in Natchitoches. She was wearing a blue and white shirt with pink jeans and pink shoes.

Alexandria Mayor Jacques M. Roy lifted the water conservation order as of 9 a.m. today.
The 42” transmission main from the Kisatchie Fields, which sustained a blowout on Saturday, June 28, was returned to service about 7:30 p.m. Sunday.

State of Emergency Declared in Alexandria

The Alexandria mayor, Jacque Roy has declared a state of emergency because of a water well blowout near Woodworth. All are asked to conserve water, and the city will close all non-essential businesses that use a lot of water. Residents must shut off sprinkler systems.
