The Lecompte Rotary Club sold sandwiches today to fund their many projects. These include textbooks for shop classes at Rapides High, a leadership award for young people, dictionaries in four community schools and a history room at the local museum.

Louisiana College is on probation again by the Southern Association of Colleges. Issues are trustee board governance, institutional integrity, personnel and audit of financial matters.
