Services are tomorrow morning at 11 at Saint James Episcopal Church for prominent Alexandria businessman Sammy Dunbar. He passed away a week ago after a lengthy illness; he was 82.
Dunbar was President of Clark-Dunbar, a home furnishings company in Alexandria, and was a well-known civic leader. He is survived by his children and their families. [...]

AMOA Opens New Exhibits

Tomorrow begins the Second Amendment Weekend Sales Tax Holiday. This is one of several shopping days afforded to Louisiana residents for purchases without state sales taxes. Local taxes still apply.
