First Baptist Church Pineville is launching a new ministry to our region Monday, February 2, called First@First Leadership Luncheon. Every First Monday right here at First Baptist we will have a luncheon for business leaders in our community. The purpose of our meeting is to provide biblical principles for leadership as well as encouragement and motivation. The meeting will not be a church service; the speakers will not “preach”; and the meeting will be limited to one hour. The meeting will be distinctively Christian, however, we want business leaders from all backgrounds to feel comfortable. I hope you can make plans now to join us! Where do we meet? We meet in the Fellowship Hall of First Baptist Church Pineville. The Fellowship Hall is located on the lower level of the Religious Education and Activities Building on the north side of the church campus. As you enter the church drive, look for the signs for the event. Is there a cost? We charge $10 a meeting to cover the cost of food and drinks. You may pay by cash or check (made out to FBC Pineville). Do I need to register? We prefer that you RSVP so we may have an accurate count for lunch orders. Please RSVP to mlangford@fbcpineville.net by 8:00 a.m. on the day of the meeting. Is there a dress code? No, simply wear whatever you normally wear to work. What Can I Expect? Each month will feature some helpful information on business leadership. Topics will include valuing employees, balancing business and family, conflict resolution, interpersonal communication, recognizing employees problems, stress management, organization techniques, and more. Speakers will include pastors, business leaders, and other professionals. The schedule may vary from month to month but will generally be as follows:
