Sheriff’s Detectives from the Tioga and Kolin Sub-stations worked in conjunction with Pineville PD Detectives to develop possible suspects in these and other burglaries. Video evidence gathered in another incident, along with the assistance of the public through the Sheriff’s Office Facebook page identified both suspects. Detectives were able to positively identify the individuals seen in the video as Jody Benjamin woodruff and Joseph Randle Guillot. Evidence was gathered by Detectives in the burglary on LA Hwy 107 and a burglary on J Nugent Road in Deville. Jody Woodruff was located on the morning of November 23rd by detectives and booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center for 2 counts Burglary and 2 counts Criminal Damage $500 – $50000.
Detectives located Joseph Randle Guillot later that afternoon along with property taken in the burglaries. Guillot was arrested without incident and booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center for 2 counts Burglary and 2 counts Criminal Damage $500 – $50000. He remains in jail on a $18,500.00 bond.
Detectives say the investigation is still ongoing and more arrests in other burglaries is likely.
