Buckeye Teacher Receives High Praise

A Buckeye High School teacher is named the best of the best in Louisiana.  Lacey Hoosier is honored for her work in teaching science at Buckeye High.

Her specialty is earth science and she goes the extra mile to engage her students.  She says science is fun for her and should be for her students as well.

Hoosier is also an adjunct professor at Louisiana Tech and was selected for this honor by the Louisiana Science Teachers Association.  She’s also being recognized by the National Geo-Science Association.
