Body of Deceased Soldier is Returned Home Today
The body of Chief Warrant Officer Four, George David Strother comes home today. The 44-year-old died two weeks ago in a helicopter crash off the Florida coast. ABC 31’s Emily Paige explains how people showed their support.
He is survived by his wife, mother, daughter, brother and sister and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Pineville.
Organizers say services will end Thursday at sunset when he is laid to rest.
