Beauty of Vernon Awards Party

GALLERY ONE EIIIEVEN in Leesville will present a double bill in August, hosting both the Greater Vernon Chamber of Commerce “Beauty of Vernon” photo competition winners show and BLACK+WHITE,  an exhibit of artwork in black and white by gallery artist members. The Beauty of Vernon exhibit will highlight the 12 finalists in the photo competition show, sponsored annually by the Chamber. The 12 winning photos will grace the mastheads of next year’s Chamber calendar, and one of the 12 will be selected to win a 0.00 cash award. The grand prize winner will be announced at the opening reception on August 10 at 7:00 at the gallery on Third Street in the Leesville Main Street District.

Also highlighted that evening and showing through August will be BLACK+WHITE, an exhibit of photos, drawings, paintings and other work all done sans color. The gallery asks that all attending the reception wear only black and white to add decor to the evening.  The reception for both of these exhibits is a “Business After Hours” event and is sponsored by the Greater Vernon Chamber of Commerce. It is free and open to the public.
