Baton Rouge Mayor Announces Run for Lt. Governor
Baton Rouge Mayor Kip Holden today announces he’ll be a candidate for lieutenant governor next year. Holden has been the mayor of Baton Rouge for the last 10 years and is a former journalist.
If elected, he’d become the first African-American second in command of the state and would succeed Jay Dardenne who is running for governor.
