Basile Housing Authority Asst. Director Suspected in Missing Funds Case
The State Legislative Auditor says the Basile Housing Authority in Evangeline Parish is missing 46 hundred dollars.
The CPA firm which prepared the audit, says the problem has been traced to the assistant director. The auditor is recommending the matter be turned over to the police and the district attorney, because the funds are still missing.
