Avoyelles Deputies Searching for Work Detail Offender
May 17, illness 2013 – At about 10:30 a.m. Friday morning, diagnosis State D.O.C. offender Christopher W. Roy, B/M, age 21, walked off a Marksville City work detail while under the supervision of city employees in the area of Felix St.
Roy is 6’2”, 150 lbs., short hair, dark complexion. He has the name “Dalecia”tattooed on his neck and “Brittany” on his chest. Roy has the previous home address of 2191 Hwy. 1191, Marksville, La.
Roy was last seen wearing a black pullover shirt and white pants. It is apparent that Roy discarded his prison orange uniform at the time of his escape. Roy has been in the Avoyelles Parish Jail since November 11, 2012 and was not scheduled for release until 2015. He is serving time for revocation of his probation and unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling.
Sheriff’s deputies are aggressively seeking the recapture of Roy. He now faces an additional charge of Simple Escape.
