It’s graduation day for 126 students of LSU of Alexandria.
Doctor Paul Coreil presided over the ceremony, which included 10 summer graduates.  Coreil is the interim chancellor and leads the school’s effort to be selected for the site of the new technical and community college coming to Central Louisiana.

Jindal Defends Phil Robertson

Louisiana’s governor weighs in on the controversy surrounding Phil Robertson of Duck Dynasty.  The Governor is defending Robertson’s remarks against gays, saying Phil and his family are great citizens.
Robertson was placed on hiatus by A&E Network following his controversial comments about homosexuals and African Americans in an interview by GQ Magazine.
