The state Office of Motor Vehicles is now accepting more than one form of payment.
Customers can now pay fees with debit cards, credit cards and e-check. There are fees attached to using plastic and e-checks.

Former Congressman Alexander Resigns as State Veterans Comm’r

Former 5th District US Congressman Rodney Alexander has resigned from his job as state veterans affairs commissioner to become a lobbyist.
Alexander resigned his post last year to take the job in Governor Bobby Jindal’s administration. Now, Alexander will go to work for a lobbying firm run by Jindal’s former chief of staff, Paul Drinkwater.
