Fall Bake and Book Sale

[ October 14, 2013 to October 19, 2013. ] Glenmora, Louisiana—The annual Fall Bake and Book Sale at the J.W. McDonald Memorial Branch Library is Monday through Saturday, October 14-19. Baked goods include cookies, cakes, candy, jellies and jams. Books cost $1 for hardbacks and $0.50 cents for paperbacks. Wednesday’s book sale special is buy two books and get one free.

NSU Homecoming Golf Tournament Oct. 18

[ October 18, 2013; ] NATCHITOCHES –The Northwestern State University Alumni Association will host the annual Homecoming Golf Scramble Friday, Oct. 18 at Northwestern Hills Golf Course.  The event will begin with lunch at noon, followed by a 1 p.m. tee time for the four-person scramble.
