Motorcycle Clubs Donate Toys for Children

Motorcycle clubs in Grant Parish are making donations to the sheriff’s toy drive.  The Circuit Rider’s Motorcycle Ministries, the Band Motorcycle Club and the Grayson Police Department rode to Colfax to donate toys for the sheriff’s toy drive.

Local Firefighter Dies in House Fire

An off-duty Rapides Parish firefighter dies after his home catches fire, Sunday evening.  He’s 24-year-old Dustin Bordelon.
Authorities say they saw thick smoke coming from the house, but were able to put out the blaze and remove the victim.  He was taken a hospital where he later died.
Investigators say the fire started in the kitchen.
