LA Ranks “2nd Worst Judicial Hellhole”

The American Tort Reform Association recently released a report ranking Louisiana as the second worst judicial hellhole in the nation.

The group is also critical of the State Attorney General for handing out what they call no-bid legal contracts.

Louisiana State Treasurer John Kennedy says the budget surplus should be used for Interstate 49 South.  He also says the money cannot be used for operating expenses, like higher education, but it can go for infrastructure.

Funeral Services for George Rodrigue Set for Thursday


Funeral services for George Rodrigue will be Thursday morning at Saint Louis Cathedral in the New Orleans French Quarter.

Harlem Globetrotters to play at LC


[ January 16, 2014; ] The Harlem Globetrotters will perform at Louisiana College on Thursday, January 16th at 7pm in H.O.
