LA Harvest Season Begins

Harvest season has started in Louisiana.  Crops such as rice, soybeans, sugarcane and cotton all get picked from the fields in late summer and fall.  Corn is one of the first crops to get harvested.

Coliseum Project Begins Again

The Rapides Coliseum renovation project is starting again after being stalled for a while.
The Rapides Parish Police Jury has voted to change architectural firms.  Police Jury President Joe Bishop says this assures the project will remain on budget, which is good news for taxpayers.
