Former Coliseum Manager Arrested


The former manager of the Rapides Coliseum is arrested for financial and legal improprieties.
She’s 37-year-old Kimberly Ellen Neal Townley of Pineville.
She faces a series of charges, including: theft, false accounting and filing false public records. The arrest follows a complaint filed by the parish police jury and a critical report from the Louisiana Legislative Auditor.

Water problems in the City of Leesville may soon be history.  The USDA Rural Development will provide more than 16 million dollars for improvements to the city water system.  It’s a combination loan and grant.

Man Arrested in Shooting Death of 70-Year-Old Woman


Grant Deputies arrest a man they say shot and killed a 70-year-old woman over the Easter weekend.  He’s 26-year-old Alex Hall of Colfax.  The victim is identified as Loretta Williams, of Eleanor Street, in Colfax.
Deputies say they were called to the scene Saturday.
