Art historian and Interim Executive Director, New Orleans African American Museum of Art, Culture and History, Dr. Mora Beauchamp-Byrd, will present an image slideshow and lecture on themes related to the exhibition, Reflections: African-American Life from the Myrna Colley-Lee Collection, currently on view at AMoA. The exhibition features African-American artists whose narrative subjects and landscapes of the American South highlight 20th century African-American life and storytelling traditions connected to a sense of place.
