APD Report Arrest of Wrong Man
Alexandria police are apologizing and correcting an arrest report they made last week. They incorrectly identified a man arrested for narcotics possession as Bruce Burns, when they actually took into custody the man’s son, 21-year-old Bruce Burns Junior.
APD confused the father and son, using the wrong picture, the wrong name and the wrong age.
They have apologized for the error.
