APD Officer Named Officer of the Year

Corporal Douglas Prestridge is a 12-year veteran assigned to the traffic division. He’ll receive the award next month during a ceremony in Baton Rouge.
Additionally, A.P.D. has received its 6th consecutive Departmental Award for D.W.I. Enforcement.
The Louisiana Highway Safety Commission awards these honors annually to Officers and Departments based upon category.
