APD Investigate Bomb Threat at Rapides Regional

class=”aligncenter size-full wp-image-44028″ src=”http://klax-tv.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/rapidesregional.jpg” alt=”rapidesregional” width=”500″ height=”206″ />Alexandria police are investigating who called in a bomb threat to a nearby hospital.

It happened around 11 o’clock yesterday morning at Rapides Regional Medical Center in downtown Alexandria. Police say they cleared the hospital while performing their investigation and the hospital was able to resume normal operations after they discovered the threat was a hoax.

The area was immediately secured after the threat.

Detectives are now looking into the communication.
