Anacoco Man Arrested In Connection with Shooting

Vernon deputies arrest an Anacoco man in connection with a shooting early this morning at Methodist Landing Park in the Leesville area.

34-year-old Rodney McGlothlin is accused of using a shotgun to injure Ernest Phaneuf III, who’s now listed in stable condition.

Deputies say McGlothin fired at the victim, who fired back, but missed McGlothlin. McGlothlin is now accused of attempted murder.
