An Altercation leads to a stabbing on Schnack Street

Press Release – On Friday, April 19th Alexandria Police arrested Tiffany Thompson, 25 of Alexandria and charged her with Aggravated Second Degree Battery.

At 8:46 P.M., APD officers were dispatched to the 1600 Block of Schnack Street in reference to a stabbing. When officers arrived, a B/F victim was being treated by medical personal for multiple stab wounds. She was later transported to a local hospital for further treatment.

APD Detectives and Crime Scene were call out to assist. The investigation found that the victim and Thompson were involved in some type of domestic related altercation when Thompson pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim.

Tiffany Thompson was arrested within a few hours by detectives with assistance from APD Patrol Officers and booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center.

Thompson’s bond has been set at $10,000. APD has no update on the condition of victim at this time.
