Alexandria Police Bust Three for Burglaries and a Stabbing

It’s a busy time for Alexandria Police as they bust some car burglary suspects and crack a several month old case.
First, 37-year-old James Reed of Alexandria; police spent nine months looking for him in a domestic stabbing case. There are no details on where police found him. That stabbing happened in the 21 hundred block of Harris back on January 19th.

And Alexandria police are cracking down on car burglaries with two more arrests. Police say 17-year-old Desmon Williams broke into 13 cars in the Garden District. Police say his spree started September 5th in the areas of Bush, Darby, Jackson, Marye, Maryland and Avenues B and C.

And police arrest a Pineville man for two break-ins in west Alexandria. He’s 26-year-old Brandon Michael Coker. Police say these happened on Alex Drive and Rue Notre Dame on September 9th. Coker is also accused of more break-ins by Rapides Deputies, who say these happened in the Kolin community last month. Victims would wake up to discover someone had rummaged through their vehicles and certain high value items were taken such as wallets, electronics and firearms.
