Alexandria Men Arrested for Attempted Murder

The victim, a 24-year-old Alexandria man was transported to surgery for treatment of injuries and is expected to recover.
UPDATE: Arrests Made
Wednesday, Alexandria detectives and the U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force located and arrested 24-year-old Denardo Boyd of Alexandria. He is charged with Attempted Second Degree Murder in connection with the above incident.
Through an investigation, detectives learned that a physical altercation had taken place between Boyd and the victim. During this altercation, Boyd pulled a handgun and started shooting at the victim, striking him twice.
Also arrested were 24-year-old Jerrell Boyd and 18-year-old Cameron Jackson, both of Alexandria. Both men were charged with Accessory after the fact of Attempted 2nd Degree Murder in relation to the above incident.
The investigation found that after the commission of the felony, Jerrell Boyd and Cameron Jackson aided, harbored or concealed Denardo Boyd with the intent to avoid arrest.
All three men were booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center; no bond has been set at this time.
