Alexandria Man Charged with Attempted 2nd Degree Murder

Avoyelles Parish Detectives arrested Hoo Ngam Chau after responding to the scene of an alleged domestic battery. Chau told detectives he and the victim were fighting over money.
Authorities say the victim had been choked. The incident is still under investigation.
