Alexandria Man Arrested for Burglary

On Monday, Alexandria Detectives arrested 31-year-old Ferlaun Williams of Alexandria and charged him with Simple Burglary.

Back in mid-March, officers were dispatched to Walgreens at 3333 Masonic Drive in reference to a reported vehicle burglary. The investigation found that while shopping for a short time, someone went into the victim’s vehicle and took some money.

Through the investigation the identity of the suspect was determined to be Ferlaun Williams. A warrant of arrest was issued on March 25.

Monday, detectives learned that Williams was incarcerated at DC-1 on an unrelated charge. Williams was re-arrested  on the Burglary charge.

This incident is still under investigation.
