Accident Leaves Biker Dead
A biker is dead following an accident last night in Avoyelles parish.
Troopers say 35-year-old Enrique Vasquez of Bunkie was on his Yamaha bike when he collided with the driver a car who was trying to make a left turn. The biker was thrown and the driver of the car was charged with trying to make an improper turn.
It happened around 6 o’clock on Highway 29 at Slaughterhouse Road.
