Burglary Arrest

On January 8th 2015, APD Detectives arrested Robert Purvis, 23 of Alexandria and charged him with;
1ct-Simple Burglary

On January 5th 2015, APD Officers were dispatched to a business located in the 300 Block of Desoto Street in reference to a possible burglary. Upon arrival, the investigation found that the business was entered and small electronic items were taken. A report was generated and the case was assigned to the Detective division.

On January 7th 2015, Robert Purvis was arrested by RPSO Deputies for an unrelated matter. Information obtained during this arrest was shared with APD Detectives.
The information shared led APD Detectives in connecting Purvis with the above mentioned burglary and the recovery of items taken.

Robert Purvis was rebooked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center on the above mentioned charge.
