3 Arrests Made in Inmate Walk-Off Case

The prisoner who walked away and was later found, 41-year-old Chad Davis Babb of Independence, is charged with escape. 44-year-old Shannon Ridgedell, also of Independence, is charged with accessory. And, 31-year-old Brandon Dale Allen, a fellow inmate of Babb, is accused of aggravated escape, obstruction of justice, contraband and conspiracy.
Deputies say Ridgedell helped Babb escape, and Allen provided contraband to aid in the walk-off.
