2nd Amendment Sales Tax Holiday Starts Friday
Tomorrow begins the Second Amendment Weekend Sales Tax Holiday. This is one of several shopping days afforded to Louisiana residents for purchases without state sales taxes. Local taxes still apply.
Still, it’s a good opportunity for hunters to pick up everything from guns to off-road vehicles at a savings.
The tax-free sales go from tomorrow through Sunday. More information is available on the web site for the State Department of Revenue.
The weekend is tied in to the start of hunting seasons in Louisiana. The next opportunity for shoppers will come near the beginning of Christmas.
