Funeral Services for George Rodrigue Set for Thursday

Funeral services for George Rodrigue will be Thursday morning at Saint Louis Cathedral in the New Orleans French Quarter.
The 69-year-old painter died Saturday after a long battle with cancer.
His blue dog paintings are beloved throughout the state and his works have turned up in the homes and offices of Governors and US Senators.

Harlem Globetrotters to play at LC

[ January 16, 2014; ] The Harlem Globetrotters will perform at Louisiana College on Thursday, January 16th at 7pm in H.O. West Fieldhouse.  The Community is invited to attend.  Tickets must be purchased in advance by mail, phone, email, or fax.  All ticketing will be handled by Brian Hill with the Globetrotters.
