The Land of the Jaguar at the Alexandria Zoo is about to be officially open. This is a renovation of the South American area. A parish shelter in south Louisiana is in need of help placing more than two dozen dogs. The shelter has been above capacity since last week. As Erin Steuber reports, people are dropping off their pets after hours and in some cases, throwing them over the fence.
Most dogs are available for a $25 adoption fee.
