Third Narcotics Arrest Since January Yields Marijuana

On Thursday, Rapides deputies observed a vehicle parked in the roadway at Main and Lower Line Streets in Alexandria.
After deputies activated emergency lights, the vehicle moved forward, eventually stopping again.  When they approached the vehicle, officers detected a strong odor of marijuana.

Rapides deputies arrest a Pineville man for pornography involving children. He is 36-year-old Gregory Rusk.
Rusk was arrested Tuesday at his home after the Cyber Crime Unit of the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant for computer and internet-related evidence.
