Two suspicious items are found on the campus of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, triggering the cancellation of classes today and tonight. The threat was called in to a TV station, which caused officials to start sweeping the campus and cancelling classes.
So far, nobody is hurt, and state police say the authorities will stay on campus until they check out the two suspicious items and determine all is safe.
Summer school is underway, with more than five thousand students on campus.
